My first thought was the same as Stephanie!! June for the month she's born in.
I like Callie Grace also.
Hi Ladies! I am expecting my second child in June 2011. We find out on February 11th what the gender is, but I have a strong feeling that it is a girl. My husband and I have chosen our girl name (it's my husband's great grandmother's name) but we are having a hard time with the middle name. Do any of you have middle name suggestions for the girl name: Callie? I prefer less common names... Our last name begins with the letter S (so initials have to be considered as well). My husband and I like Callie Elizabeth, but are reluctant to use 'Elizabeth' because it is my husband's grandmother's name. I would like to only use one familial name if at all possible. We've already picked our boy name. Any girl middle name suggestions are appreciated!

Callie Renee, Callie Faye, Callie Marie, Callie Michelle, Callie Mae, Callie Danielle. As for not using a name that can be shortened...any name can be. I have a 3 letter name and people shorten it and/or frequently ask "what's that short for?"
I like Callie Jo (although Jo isnt very feminine I think it sounds cute)

Yes, they can be shortened but who really used their middle name long enough to have it shortened?
Good Luck
First of all, congratulations on you new addition! Coming up with baby names is so much fun. Here are a few suggestions for a middle name that sound nice with Callie: Anne, Grace, Jayne, Mae, Joy, Beth, & Rose. Good luck finding the perfect name!
Yes but what if it's a boy?!
Congrats!
:)
I recommend going with something classic:
Helen, June, Marian, Frances...preferably something that ends with a consonant sound, since the first name ends with a vowel...
If you're calling her Callie as her first name, how relevant is it that her middle name not be able to be shortened/made a nickname?
One last thought - if you both like Elizabeth, you should use it - just change it to Elisabeth, so no one is confused that it is a "familial name."
Callie Eliza
Callie Lane

I have also thought of Callie June (commemorating her birth month, but I do understand if you're not thrilled about doing that, I know a lot of moms aren't particularly fond of that trend!) I just think it has a nice ring to it and at the same time it has a sentimental motivation behind it. Good luck and enjoy your new baby be it a girl or boy!
