E.K.
My Baby Jogger holds 75 lbs. I only use it jogging though. By 2, they walked everywhere, including shopping, zoo, etc.
Does anyone have a brand of stroller they are using for a larger child?
My daighter is 2 years and 4 months but she is 48lbs. We are at the limit of the 50 lbs for her current stroller
and I haven't been able to find another for any child weighing more than 50 lbs.
I still need a stroller for her...she is only 2 and I certainly cannot carry around a 48 lb child whenever we are out shopping.

I am glad you posted this, because my daughter is 1 1/2 and already 40lbs, so we will be in the same boat as you. I am pretty sure my strollers weight limit is 70lbs, I have the BOB revolution. I love it, we use it everywhere and take it hiking etc. I'm not sure about the height though (my daughter is also really tall). Make sure to get the revolution though because it has the swivel wheel which makes it easy to manuver in stores.
Have you had trouble with clothing as well? I can't seem to find clothing that fits her right because she is still a baby/toddler but needs size 5 or 6 clothes which seem to fit wrong.
Briatax makes car seats for big kids, maybe they make strollers?
when you are shopping, you can always use a shopping cart or the mall has those strollers you can rent. There is also a step2 push buggy thing that would work... no where to store anything, but it would save your back.

if you are going to other places like the zoo, you could get a wagon or something.
