My 3 almost 4 month old baby is now eating baby food, and we all know how pruns can stain anything. Does anyone know what works best on baby food stains. With my other two, they were clean eaters, but my little one is far from clean. So please help me. Thankyou

I would have to agree with the post that Melaleuca is the absolute best stuff out there. I haven't had to deal with prunes but it works wonders on chocolate, grass, coffee and grease stains that I missed and sent through the dryer. I thought the shirt was going to be relegated to the rag pile but I tried the pre-spot with the laundry detergent. It got the stain out. I was so excited I even tried it on the anti-perspirent stains in the pits of my husbands shirts. It got those out too! I will never use anything else, ever again!!!!

These stains are such a nuisance I saved an article here awhile back: Wipe out those LAUNDRY STAINS
http://www.naturalsolutionsmag.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/a...

1/2 cup lemon juice in rinse water will brighten whites or half a cup of vinegar; spray hydrogen peroxide on spots (right away or) before laundry & leave for a few minutes (also good for blood). Meat tenderizer sprinkled on some stains is quite effective - dampen stain throughly, sprinkle, rub gently, let stand 1/2 hr or so & wash normally. Simple old rubbing alcohol on the spot will also work oftentimes.
And another good article with a lot of inexpensive & eco friendly suggestions: http://lifestyle.msn.com/your-home/cleaning-organizing/st...

Hope this helps

I know this isn't directly answering your question, but I would suggest buying several large bibs for feeding time. Those cutsie little cloth ones just won't cut it. I went to K-Mart and bought a couple of the big plastic ones that go over the arms like sleeves, cover down to the tummy, and have a pocket. You'll save yourself a lot of work and expense if you can avoid most of the stains in the first place :)

Hi B.!

The sun is a great natural source to use to bleach stains out, even after you've washed the clothes.

But, another great product is Nature Bright/Laundry Boost & Stain Remover. It's natural, biodegradable, etc. It uses natural enzimes to work together to rid the stains without using any toxic ingredients. Here's a link to the product on my Shaklee website: http://www.shaklee.net/sowing4health/product/00305.

God bless,

Hi B.
its me again.

I use the laundry detergent and brightener from Melaleuca
and any stains I spray with their pre-spot and have not had to worry.
I like that I order it online and it comes to me and I do not have to worry about getting it at the store and carry it home with the groceries etc.

Here is a web site for more information if you want it.

It is so nice when MS decides to take a break.
Enjoy your little ones.

Oxiclean works great. I just soak the clothes for a very long time (hours).

I immediately get the clothes in cold water and rub with borax--it got out my daughters bloody nose the other day even. YAY!
it's what I have found works universally across the board for stains for me.
on the laundry aisle and it's cheap...

Since I have had 4 kids who all like to make a mess, I have had much experience getting out stains. I use different products depending on the toughness of the stain. I recommend straight detergent rubbed on and into the stain, Goof Off, Goo Gone or my miracle worker the "Bella Bar" (which I have used to get many different, very difficult stains out of just about any fabric including furniture & carpet). Good luck!

Make it a GREAT day!
