I love making homemade babyfood for my son! The fruits and veggies are so easy!
I went for fresh veggies and fruit that i could easily get my hands on in the produce section- apples, plums!, bananas, peaches, mango. For veggies, i did everything fresh and frozen- i loved walmart's frozen veggies- mixed, green beans, peas, squash, zuccini, carrots, etc.
You can also mix up and experiment with your combinations. I did strawberry and/or blueberry applesause, peach and mango applesauce. I loved putting things in my homemade applesauce because it was perfect consistancy. I used broccoli when he got a big older. It made him gassy and it stunk up my kitchen!!

My son is now 3 years old and eats ALL of his veggies! He'll even eat brocolli off of my plate!!

Look into Anabel Karmel. I have a few of her recipe books and loved them!! Have fun with it!

God Bless

Get a baby/toddler cookbook by Annabel Karmel. They are all great! Try Halfprice Books or Amazon to get a cheap used copy. I love "Superfoods".

Congrats! You are awesome for making the effort! There are lots of websites with babyfood recipies that I loved...just google baby food recipies. From what I remember, early on I made many of the foods you mentioned. Also, avacado, banana, and acorn squash. Those are super easy to make. Once they get older you can mix things together, blend frozen veggis like peas green beans, etc. that will have a little bit more texture. I also started adding a little seasoning such as cinnamon or nutmeg in the acorn squash. Also, a friend of mine shared that if you buy frozen veggis, many of them have salt added. However, if you rinse them before cooking, you can get rid of most of it. Canned fruits and veggis (while they may be softer and easier to blend) on the other hand, are near impossible to find without loads of salt and many times sugar too. Good luck and have fun! Homemade babyfood is so much better! When we traveled we used jars and my son refused many of the jar baby foods in the same flavors that I made for him at home :) I can see why. They are not even the same color.
