We are thinking of taking a family vacation to Atlantis this summer. We have 2 daughters ages 8 & 2. I have researched but am not sure where to stay so I would love any recommendations. Any other info would be helpful as well.

We're looking at this too, looks like the Towers is the nicest place to say in the resort.
The Royal Towers are really nice, but pricey. We are trying to decide between the Beach and Coral towers as well. We are going again in December. We went 10 years ago and it is a perfect place for families.
Isn't Atlantis a resort in the Bahamas?
We were just there earlier this month. We did a cruise but took a taxi to Atlantis. MAN! That place is HUGE!!
I'm not sure what places are best to stay, but maybe call them and ask...they can tell you what you're looking for and what best fits your needs.
