Hi Moms! I was fortunate enough to visit an awesome family resort in Cancun earlier this month. Loved all the activities for kids every hour and the drop-off kids club so we had a little adult time as well. We are looking for other resorts at different destinations like this for next year and years to come. What was your favorite family resort vacations? (And yes, all-inclusive works the best for us...for so many reasons.). Thanks in advance!

So What Happened?

So the first responder confused me a bit. Maybe she mistaked me for another mom on here. I am in no way trying to make others feel bad that can't afford a vacation. I am using this forum for the knowledge of thousands of moms who may have the same ideals and goals on a family vacation that I have. Thanks again for the vacation related answers!!

No need to feel bad!
When you're financially responsible and plan and save for vacations, that's a GOOD thing.
We're going to Playa del Carmen this year.
RIU Palace is O. were looking at.
Here are the answers I fit ehe I asked about that area. Some are sincere, some are snarky. Maybe some info that you will find helpful:

Barcelo has family oriented resorts, we've been to one 2 years ago, in Cayo Santa Maria, but this is in Cuba and am not sure as American you can go there unless you leave from Canada. However, I heard that many Barcelo resorts offer family oriented services, so you could check some out.

Most years we go at least once and there is nothing better than all-inclusive. One that was really fun was Sandos Caracol. It is pretty inexpensive and it has wildlife all over, fun things for the kids, etc. They looked like they were having a great time in the kids club, we did not have any children so didn't use it. There are a million good places to stay in that area. We are currently looking for my daughter's destination wedding next January. We usually try to pick new places but I have been to Sandos Caracol twice and would go back again.

Nothing wrong with asking this question. I think this is a great forum for asking any question that deals with YOUR life right now. Maybe next year you will be jobless, or pregnant with sore nipples, or in the midst of an emotional breakdown...and you will find ladies to help you then too!

My husband and I went without the kiddos to the Bahamas last Spring. (It was a work trip) We stayed at the Atlantis in the Royal Towers. It was an all around amazing trip. There is so much to do on the site. Their is an incredible aquarium IN the hotel lobby..yes IN the hotel lobby. There is a Kids Fun Zone, gym, high end salon, teen dance club, adult dance club, movie theatre, build a bear, pottery making place, casino, bar, yacht club, high end shopping mall etc. Some activities are free some you pay.

Outside is an amazing experience. There is a lazy river and rapids as well as waterslides and multiple pools to play in all day long..for free. There is gorgeous beach access too. They have a dolphin experience too where you swim with and train a dolphin.

Have a great trip no matter where you go....and don't feel guilty for being able to fit this in your budget. Good job!! Cancun is somewhere we'd love to go. We are heading to Cabo San Lucas this Spring...for hubby's work again.
