sorry if this is tmi.

my youngest sister (19) is having some problems. starting 3 weeks ago she started having pain in her abdomen and pelvic area after reaching a climax. she also bleeds afterwards. this happens with sex or masterbation. her and her fiance use condoms and have not changed brands. shes not sure what is going on and im stumped. if anyone has advice please share.

So What Happened?

thanks everyone! my sister did tell the nurse about her issues and requested a pelvic exam. she isnt pregnant she is on the shot (religiously) and they use condoms.

Sounds like she may have had a miscarriage or may have an STD like PID. It could also be Endometriosis. All of these can effect the ability to become pregnant in the future.

She needs to perhaps tell the doc exactly why she is making the appointment. They can work her in if they feel the need is important.

I agree with Livinglife, tell her to keep checking for cancellations, I personally would stop having sex until I found out what is going on too.

I'm sorry your sis is going through this~ I hope she feels better and gets some help from the doctor. The only advice I have is to keep checking with the doctors to see if they have any cancelations--she 9/10 can get in sooner if you just keep calling. GL

id go to planned parenthood asap. They always have openings, It could be an infection or std
