I am not sure what I would do. I can see both pros and cons to sending her away. If I had a family member that loved my kid enough to offer her to go stay with them in the attempt to help my daughter see another side of the situation, well I just might take them up on that offer. It really depends on how bad the situation is. I dont think we see even close to the whole situation, so it's hard to tell, and I can't judge them for their decision. Do I feel bad for Ashlee sometimes, sure, because she's still a child. I also feel bad for the parents and step parents as well, after all kids don't come with instructions. They seem to all co-parent and love her enough to want to help, and I hope they find a way to help her.
Jacqueline said Ashlee had been calling her drunk from the city and needed them to pick her up. So underage drinking, and reckless behavior might have been the cherry on the cake. It seems to me that Ashlee is stuck in a rut. She's got her group of friends and wants to party. She needs to start taking some responsibility, and some initiative for her life. Maybe being removed from her group of friends will help that.
I did watch the follow up show "Watch what happens, live" and Caroline Manzo said Ashlee's back now and better then ever. She also said she went back to brunette.
I love the Real Housewives series. It's my "me" time. Tonight is OC for me, lol. =)
