I just became a member of the Mckinney mom's group through Meetup.com. If you go to the website and search through zipcode, it comes up. I went to my first playdate yesterday and had a great time. There were a ton of baby girls also. They have playdates scheduled at least several times a week from parks/indoor places, to a smaller meetup at a mom's house.

I organize a play group on meetup.com as well. Were called the Allen Area Playgroup. We are a fun bunch of moms and have lots of activities for both babies and mommies. We all either live in McKinney or Allen so most of what we do is in the area. I have a little girl who just turned 1 and would love to have more friends for her! My name is K., and I coordinate a playgroup in the McKinney/Allen/Plano/Frisco area. I started it 2 years ago when my oldest son was 6 months and ready to socialize (and I needed some adult friends). We are still together, and that original set of kiddos are 2-3 now. However, we also have a second generation of kids now as many of us have new babies. My second son is 5 months, and there are 4 others his age in the group. There are also 2 more infants who are now 9 months old. We'd love to have you join us!
