Anyone Own a Magic Bullet?

Don't laugh! Before I buy one I would like to know how they REALLY work. I wanted to buy one when my daughter started eating because I am not big on pre-made baby food. I spent a lot of time mushing stuff up for her. Now that my son is ready to eat, I want to make it a little easier on myself. Any info on this food processor would be helpful or if someone has one they just love that won't break my bank! I would like something that is easy to clean also.
Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I just want to thank everyone for their responses! I was afraid no one would. I have not had time to look at the cost online and compare to the one at JCPenny's but either way I will be buying one I have been wanting to start making smoothies for my daughter also so this will be perfect!
Thanks again for your help!!!!!!

I just bought one, so I can't yet comment on it's usefulness, but had I known that JCPenney had a similar item for half the price, I would have gone there!

I did, however, get mine for $48 at Linen's & Things by using one of their 20% off coupons... I get them all the time. If you don't have one and need one, I have some more for LNT and tons for Bed, Bath & Beyond (I think BB&B has the Magic Bullet, too).

Shoot me a note and I'll mail you one, if you need it. But, I would probably go for the $30 one at JCPenney!

Hi S.,

I just bought myself one. Its not Magic Bullet brand, its Cooks brand from Jcpenney. It looks exactly the same and has the same parts and stuff. It was $30. (not sure how much the Bullet one is) I really like it and think it would be great for baby food. I've been using it to puree and blend stuff for myself. I think spending the $30 is worth it to make healthier foods for your baby, your family and yourself.

I don't have one but just visited a friend over the weekend who has one. They were using it while I was there and I asked about it. They love it. They kept saying it's great.

My Mom owns a Magic Bullet and she loves it! Actually, she rarely leaves home without it. She recently had a few teeth pulled and was unable to chew. She put EVERYTHING, and I mean everything, in the magic bullet and drank her meals. I think it's way better than some of the other gadgets she's had in the past.

I got one for Christmas and I LOVE IT! I use it at least 2x per day. I make smoothies, shakes, guacamole and yes even baby food. Sooo worth the money. Sooo easy to use.
I have turned all of my friends on to it and they love it also.
I have even dropped 5 pounds becuase I love to make fresh fruit smoothies as meal replacements.

I got one for Christmas, and it's great for smoothies and shakes. It chops the ice much better than a blender. My oldest is too old and the baby is not quite there yet for baby food, but I'm quite sure it would puree well. The cups are dishwasher safe so all you have to wash is the blade. Very easy. I was thinking about pulling mine out tonight!!!

S.,

I know this isn't exactly the answer to your question, but my sister got me a Magic Bullet this last year & I use it ALL the TIME. It makes the best Margaritas. My husband loves it too. He uses it alot to make sauces, etc. (he's an elaborate cook sometimes). I would definantly recomend getting one! Very easy to clean (top shelf of dish washer).
