Anyone No Anything About Saving Dogs from Pound

I saw that you previously posted that your dog had been lost. Do you know that your dog is at the pound or are you still looking for him and are concerned that he may be there and be put to sleep soon? I don't know your exact location but here is a link to the Indianapolis animal control.

If you actually know where your dogs are then you need to speak to the people at that location to determine what you need to do to get your dogs out. If you are just looking for your dog, I would google animal shelters in your area and start calling or visiting them to look for your dog.

I'm not sure what your situation is or what type of dogs you have, but unless you are able to find foster homes for them until they are adopted I don't know what to say. Once they are in the pound, they become very selective of who the dogs can go to. I tried to adopt a very tiny dog and I was told that my fence wasn't high enough in the yard so I was denied even though it would have been mostly in the house. My yard was completely fenced but I guess another animal could have gotten in. I never really understood it. And I don't know what ever happened to that little dog.
Were your animals seized? Are they at the pound because you surrendered them due to losing your home or something?
Not knowing your circumstances, it's hard to say what to do.
If you have a local SPCA you could try them.

Maybe someone else knows of something but with few details, it's hard to advise.

ok, i get it. one of your four dogs killed another dog, and now all four are in the pound? have you contacted the pound or the police and talked to them about how to get your dogs back, at least the ones that didn't do any harm? that will be the best place to start, you need to learn the official process, and then learn how to help at each step of the way.

We have saved three dogs from the pound. Don't worry They do all they can to re-home them.

I second the more information. why are they at the pound and not the humane society.

If so then you need to go there and ask them. do you need to put your dogs in the pound and want someone else to take them so they dont get put to sleep? sorry I dont know what you are asking.

why are your dogs in the pound in the first place? Why would your dogs be put to sleep? I don't understand your question here. You need to give more details.
