I had the service with my WOW Cable service. I loved it. Would still have it but Comcast give me an awesome deal to steal me away from WOW.
Thinking about switching over to the wowway phone to save money does anyone have it and how do they like it? Had any problems with the phone line? And did you get to keep your phone number? Thanks

Hi K.,
I have the Wow internet, cable & phone service as a bundle package. I like it very much, as I never have to decipher through a bill each month. I have not had any problems at all. I find that WOW is much more adaptable & pleasant than any other company. When you order your service, be sure to get the essential phone service, so all your calls are toll free & you have unlimited access without paying anything extra. Let me know how you like it.

I have wowway phone and have never had any trouble. We did get to keep our phone number. Good luck!
I used to get those types of pains when I was little and my mom called them growing pains. But.....you may want to get her checked out just to be sure.
Hi K.,
I've had wowway phone, internet and digital cable for a couple of years now and haven't had any problems or issues. I know your questioning the phone service and I have to say that's it's a good value for having everything included.
We have had one for a few years now and never had a problem. Yes we got to keep our number as well.
I have WOW phone, Internet and cable. I love it. WOW has superior customer service. I've had very few problems with the phone. I don't think phone service through a cable company can be quite as problem-free as a local exchange carrier (like ATT) but I have no complaints. And, yes, in most cases you can keep your number. (It's called number portability.) I recommend WOW highly to everyone.
Good luck!
I have to second Karen. We have it as well, and while I find it to be more reliable than when I had Comcast (also a bundle deal) a couple years back, it bears noting that if the cable goes out for some reason, your phone does as well. Not a big deal if you have a cell phone etc for backup. Their phone service has voicemail with it, but we had to get an answering machine (It's on our physical phone system), because our voicemails were not registering until days later, not so helpful.
I've had Wowway ever since they were Ameritech. I have never been more pleased with a company overall. Whenever I had a problem, they were always right there to answer questions, provide technical help, etc.
I got the phone/cable/internet bundle a few years ago. The only thing that really changed in my house was the modem and some additional wiring to it. The phone is great. Never a need to question the bill. It is louder than a landline, but I find that help w/ hearing my 76 yr old mother, and other soft speakers. I've never had any problem with voicemail like the previous gal. I also like that I can call my friend in Toronto w/o charges. Wish my cell phone was so nice. And when I had to call the Philippines, the minute charges were quite reasonable.
Thumbs up for Wowway.
Hi K., I have had WOW for a very long time. It works great. I have been very happy with them. I have one of the bundle packages. Just know that if you have a power outage or something like that, you need to have a cell phone. I switched to comcast one time and didnt even have them for a month before I went back to WOW. also theirs prices are usually guaranteed for 2 years and not just 6 months like Comcast.
We did this and I was not too happy with it due to the fact if you lost your cable line (for the computer), you lost the use of your phone. Having a small child in the house, I was not comfortable with this. (remember the black out we had years ago? Not even cell phones worked in this. played a ton of havoc when I worked at the payroll company as we could not even send direct deposit files until power restored!)
I am more comfortable knowing I have the land line (this works even if the power is down, providing you are not using a cordless hand held unit.). Even though we still favor our cell phones, it makes me comfortable to know I have a line I can rely on.
