I'm pretty sure I can give you ours. We are going today to buy a booster for our son, so let me check with my husband and I'd be glad to. It's in great shape. Let me wash the padding, etc. Feel free to contact me.
I know this is an odd request but I was picking my kids up from school on Thursday and a my kids asked why their friend was riding in a baby carrier. I thought they had to be wrong but they were right. A 2 & 1/2 yr old little boy at their school is still in a rear facing infant carrier (yes the kind that can be removed and snapped into a stroller. I think the Dad was a little embarressed and said he was in "car seat transition". Thinking I had an extra one at home I offered to give him one of our "big boy carseats". He was very receptive and said that would be great. You can tell they don't have a lot of money.
When I got home I found out that my husband got rid of them-- so I don't have an extra. Do any of you?
I just feel that it is so unsafe for this child to be in the infant carrier still that I'm ready to buy him a suitable car seat--- but we really don't have the money for that. I just thought I would check here 1st.
Please let me know if any of you do. Thank you!!

Hi C.,
Your request is not odd and more common than you think. My name is Sita Helms. I am the Director of Helping Hand Worldwide we advocate for children, seniors and Military families here in South Orange County. Some times we get donated car seats. We may even have a nice one in our Warehouse. I will check on Tuesday.

Wow! I just want to say that there should be more people like you in the world! I wish i had one to give, but i had heard that the highway patrol gives them out. . . Whether thats true or not i'm not sure. You might want to give them a call , its worth a try. Poor baby shouldn't be in a car seat like that i'm suprised he even fits. My son grew out of his at nine months.
You can get a good deal on them on Craigslist or a lot of local churches have "kids closets" where folks donate things that their kids no longer need.
