I want to try it today but want feedback. did you end up orange? how fast did it wear off? if i get it tonight will i be able to go out tonight and sit on a barstool without leaving an orange mark?

I'm going at 6 if i find some good feedback online
this is where you get airbrushed and not the spray tan

oh i'm very pale if that matters

What can I do next?

I doubt you'll notice much. I went and got it done once - chose the medium in color. You could barely notice. I think you need to build it up over a few visits, which I never did.

Nowadays, the only people that are orange are the ones with serious tanning issues.

I got it several years ago. One application should not make you orange--I believe it is only habitual spray-tanners who get orange.

Mine stayed for at least a week.

I did it once or twice years ago. Yeah I liked it a lot. I didn't look orange. But wear old clothes there because it can stain your clothes when you leave the salon. But once it's dry, it's dry. you aren't going to leave marks where ever you go. lol

I went to an airbrush place near my apt in Sewickley about a month before my wedding. She guaranteed that I would love it or my money back. I loved it. I went back before my wedding and was pleased again. It looked natural, it faded naturally (no sloughing needed) and lasted around 16 days. I haven't gone back because I haven't needed it (my wedding was in the spring, and there was no availability for M. to get real son before it). Good luck!

My daughter gets them when she has cheer competitions, homecoming, prom, etc...

She has never looked orange. The Versa spray tan did not work on her very well and she had it re-done with something else they had that worked better.

The day before she went in, she showered, shaved, exfoliated and then did not shower again until the next day.

Hers lasted a good week and left no stains on her very white prom dress or other clothing.

I did it last summer. You can tell the person spraying you how dark you want to go and they will adjust the coloring. As far as going out right after, I felt sort of sticky afterwards, not so much that a quick trip into Target would matter but if you are going out with friends, I'd shower first. The only thing I was told was to wait till it dries before dressing again but nothing about showering. In fact, I did something REALLY stupid, so learn from my mistake....I decided after I got my new tan, I also didn't want to have to shave for the whole weekend (we were leaving town) so I bought some good ol' Nair. I lathered up my legs in the shower, let it sit for the 5 minutes that it says to on the box and then began to wipe it off which is when I realized, it was wiping off my new tan!!!! So if you plan on getting a leg wax or using a stupid product like Nair or Veet, do it BEFORE you get the tan:)

I'm in California and many of my colleagues (women) get them. They seemed to really have improved in quality. I thought I heard you couldn't shower for a bit so you many feel icky on the barstool.

I have not but I have seen the end results. The only flaw in airbrushing is you don't have the normal flaws you get from tanning. Like it looks perfect, not exactly natural because natural is not perfect.

Not sure if some salons do orange but none I have seen do.
