I am going on a trip this month and am in need of a tan before I go! My husband and I are going to a wedding with a big group of friends. One of the days of our trip is a day by the pool at a great resort/spa. I have heard that there are salons here in Dallas that do personal air brush tanning that can make you look great. Does anyone out there have any recommendations on getting this done. I am very fair skinned, and want a tan that looks natural and pretty.

Hi L.. Let me just say that I have had VERY bad experiences with spray-on tanning! You're going to laugh, but I did it the day before my brother's wedding, in which I was a bridesmaid, and I was completely orange! I ruined all of their pictures because I looked terrible! It was really sad and pretty embarrassing!
Hopefully if you decide to do the air brush tanning it will work out better for you!
I love being tan, so I'm always looking for ways to be "tan" without the sun. I know that Arbonne International carries a product called "Made In the Shade" self-tanner with SPF 15. I had not tried this particular product because I was scared that I would be orange! But, my friend (who is also very fair)who lives in Seattle, was telling me how much she loves it, so I decided to give it a try. It's awesome! It's the absolute best self-tanner I have ever used, and I think I've tried most of them! If you're intersted, you can check out my website at: www.mandyolsen.myarbonne.com or www.arbonne.com. I'd be happy to let you try some for yourself too before you buy. Just let me know! Good luck!
Sincerely,

If I may, I would check out Mystic Tan. I'm partial to it because I've worked with that company but now I work for Palm Beach Tan. Mystic Tan launched a new booth that anyone can really enjoy! Its called the MyMist and takes the technique of airbrush and the technology of Mystic Tan to deliver the perfect tan every time! You really should consider it! Just go to any local Palm Beach Tan location and have them show you, walk you through it, and watch the video then you can decide.

Now, another suggestion as I'm now on the tanning salon side, you might want to get some actual sun before you go on vacation. Airbrush or Mystic Tanning does not prepare your skin for sun exposure. If you are wanting to avoid burning on vacation then you need some actual sun. The salon staff can walk you through the best plan for you and to find something you're comfortable with. If you still simply want color then Mystic is a great idea as well. Both the original booth and Mymist booth are in almost all of our stores!

Let me know if you have questions! :o)
All the best!
