Before we go crazy? lol I have a rambuctous 2 y/o boy that I need to get out of the house besides on friday library days. Hey, maybe we can go to the library story time too! Meet at the park? He likes to play outside, swim in the creek, play with big trucks and cars and trains and we go to the library in Tahlequah on Fridays for story time. He is still learning to go to the potty. We live in Stilwell, Ok. So if you're near or here..........!

What can I do next?

I agree with Cricket. I used meetup.com because all we had was library days and going to the park. I have found so many fun opportunities for play dates in my area in only 3 weeks of joining groups on that site! There are none really close to our house, but we are willing to drive the 30 minutes. And like cricket said, you can always start your own group if you need to and the moms will find you. We have so many social opportunities now that it's hard to choose which one to go to.

You should see if you can find any mom groups nearby. I am in M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers) and we have outdoor playdates all summer. My son loves it and it keeps me from going crazy. You can go to www.mops.org to find groups in your area.

M.O.P.S. is for kids from newborn through kindergarten, so I was nervous at first about the wide age range. But having him play with older & younger kids has really helped his social skills. Also when he sees the big boys use the toilet it encourages him to try harder!

Good luck!!!

try meetup.com for playgroups in your area. If there's not one you could start it up on there.
