Any Daycare Recommendations?

Hello. My current childcare provider has been having some family health issues and sadly I have to find someone else to care for my precious 9 1/2 month old daughter. I'm very disappointed to lose her and extremely terrified trusting anyone else with my daughter, but my options are limited at this point. I checked out the childcare pages on this site and have contacted some prospects. I've also searched a little on sittercity.com but most of those women are more then we could afford. I was wondering if there are any moms out there in the Romeoville area who could offer me some recommendations for daytime childcare (I'm open to all ideas at this point) of trustworthy people/places. I'll take AS MANY responses as I can get & will greatly appreciate any suggestions. Additionally, my boyfriend works (various starting hours) in the city (and I work nights) so the EARLIER the hours the better. Thank you soooooooo much for taking the time to read this and respond! Have a happy day!

Hi D.,

What kind of hours, days and price are you looking for? Also are you looking for a daycare setting or more of a home with maybe one other child or none?

My cousin's best friend just opened a licensed daycare facility in Lemont - Bright Beginnings?? on Walker Rd. She only has 5 children right now, and needs to grow her business. She has a separate infant room with a teacher too. I posted the info on this website a few months back with the phone number. Good luck. It is hard to find someone you can trust.

Hi D.,
Before I became a WAHM, my oldest daughter attended Rogy's Learning Place in Romeoville. I would tell anyone to take their child there! I absolutely loved it. It is a bit costly but well worth it. Plus my daughter did not get as many colds there as she did in a home daycare. She learned sign language at 18 months. She was counting to 10 in Spanish before age 2. Additionally, they keep the babies in a room away from the bigger toddlers. You'll appreciate this since you have a small baby.
