Okay so me and my hubby are ttc. So the other day i thought i was having implantation bleeding because it was a week before my period was supposed to start and i started spotting only really when i wiped and it was pink and i did not need a pad on. Well it did that for 4 days straight. this started on tuesday. then on sat. i woke up and felt blood and i went to the bathroom and i had bright red blood in my panties so i thought this is going to be my period after the 4 days of spotting (which i usually only spot 1 to 2 days then have a full on period for 5 days) but after i put on a pad there was only a little blood on the pad the whole day like the size of a half dollar on the entire pad. so i took the pad off and went with nothing then just spotted again when i wiped. then sunday morning i woke up again and had the bright red blood again so i put on a pad and then like just a size of a half dollar on the entire pad for sunday so i took it off and went with nothing the rest of sunday evening and only spotted when i wiped again. Then Monday morning i had a pad on just in case and what do you know i had the bright red blood again only in the morning and also i had more cramping today too its all in my back and whole front stomach area. So this is day 8 of what im guessing is my period and i never go 8 days on a period i only go 5. But what i dont get is why im only spotting for 4 days and then just in the morning when i wake up on sat. , sun, and monday, i have bright red blood only once when i get up and then it goes back to spotting where i dont have to wear anythig??? ive tried google but couldnt really find anything. Im hoping somebody might had this happen and/or knows what it might be. Also ive never had a period where i just spotted i would always have to wear a pad.
THIS IS DAY 8 AND IM STILL SPOTTING. THIS STARTED TUESDAY AND SUNDAY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY PERIOD AND I WAS STILL SPOTTING UP TO MY PERIOD AND NOW STILL AFTER WHEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO ACTUALLY START. THE SPOTTING STARTED 5 DAYS BEFORE PERIOD. ANY BODY KNOW WHATS GOING ON???
I HAVE TAKEN A PREGNANCY TEST SUNDAY AND IT WAS NEGATIVE. ALSO WHEN I WILL NOTICE SOME CLEAR DISCHARGE IN MY PANTIES AS WELL. VERY WEIRD...
Hmm why don't you call your doctor or advice nurse to see what they say.
Seems like a long time for spotting/bleeding .
You say you're not pregnant so you've taken a test?
Just to be sure/safe, see a professional.
you might just be having a weird cycle....it happens. I wouldn't be too concerned. maybe if you keep spotting or your next period does the same thing. or you may be pregnant and it's too soon to show up on a test. give it another month before you start making yourself crazy.
I had something very similar a few months back...it turns out my body was reacting to stress. I'd call your dr and ask them just to be on the safe side.
Talk to the advice nurse associated w/your gyn/OB practice.
