Does any one know of any babysitters in the Corinth/Denton area. Sometimes for 2 kids, sometimes just 1 kid. My son is 2 1/2 and my daughter is 5 mos. old. I have a 12 year old step-son who doesn't need supervision, but may sometimes be at the house depending on the circumstances.
I did Sitter City for a while, but I fel the prices where kind of high. At that time I only had my son, and wasn't expecting my daughter then. I just need someone that isn't going to charge me outrageous for just one kid. Two kids I know I'm going to have to pay, just because those ages are tough together.
Trading babysitting wouldn't work for me either, due to time constrants and my husband travels for a living, so when he's home we are home.

I am part of Seeking Sitters and most of our sitters are in Denton, right now I believe I am the only one in NE Tarrant. The website is www.Seekingsitters.com. They have been seen on the news (CBS) recently as well as: Fox, NBC, and more. You plug in what you are looking for and the dates and Alexa (owner) will find a sitter for you and if you want to keep the same sitter everytime you can request that as well. NO searching for a sitter. No doing background checks becuase Seeking Sitters does the top of the line which is Called the X-Check it is not a normal "Back Ground Check" they have private investigators that check the whole background of the sitters. It is very extensive!
Also the fee is very reasonable and you know you can trust them and they garantee to have you a sitter ever time you need one. You dont have to worry about availability. Also we bring out own backpack with things such as: Books, coloring pages, crayons, games, playdough etc so that we are using our stuff verses yours. We make you a daily sheet (what they did, ate etc) as well as a time card. You do not pay the sitter, the owner will charge your (debit, credit card after the time sheet is turned in) You can opt to Tip her if you please or put a tip on the card. But no worrying about checks or cash!

This may not be helpful for you depending on what direction you are headed when you need a sitter but....there are 2 drop in play care centers in highland village. You pay hourly 7.50 an hour for the 1st kid = 3 dollars more for the second. They kids really love it.
