Hi
I have a staff of 23 I wanted to give them each something this year but with that many people it's hard to do wihout breaking the bank. I have never done this before I usually just catered lunch but this year they are doing their own potluck and that is like a miracle from heaven since none of them get along. I have had several team building meetings and speakers come to meet with them and I think it's finally working since they are breaking bread together. I wanted to get them a small token of my appreciation for their efforts. What can I get for them? they are a mix of parent's, singles, late 50's early 20's, men and women.

What can I do next?

What about writing each one a personalized thank-you note? With 23 people, it's hard to come up with something that won't cost a bundle and a personal thank-you note sounds perfect in this situation.

If you'd really like to get them something, what about movie tickets? You can buy them discounted in packs at Costco.

What sort of business is it? Is it such that you could give them each a half day off (paid)? If it's possible, I am sure that that would be one of the most highly appreciated!
Maybe print out cards that are little "certificates" good for 4 hours paid time off on ___ (whatever your last business day before Christmas is).

When I worked at this one company; during Orientation they showed a film called, "Choose Your Attitude", and it talks about how you can make the most of your day at work and where ever you are. I think it was one of the best videos I have ever seen from an employer. (just a little tip to help get your crew even more motivated to get along at work). :-)

The gifts, my husband's boss always gave him two tickets for the movies. We never could use them. I'm sure some of his coworkers did though.

I would suggest getting them little paper weights, key chains, little calculator etc. OR: Cookware Utensil Set, Wine Opener, etc.

Special Ornaments: there are a lot of pretty ones at Target. :-)

Candy gift sets.

Hope these help you. :-)

How about a donation to a charity in the name of the group or even each person?

have you considered having a holiday party at your house? You can do it during the week between Christmas or New Years Day. Or even after the New Year.
My boss has gotten us nice wines, Honeybaked Hams, etc. Not sure what you would like to spend per head. (Our office is more like 8-10 people though.)
I'm just thinking that even though they have organized a pot-luck, a lunch or dinner out on the boss is always nice.
Good luck!
