Have your children said or done anything amusing lately?
I made Italian soup for dinner. My husband absolutely loves it. He ate way too much of it and then was laying on the living room floor stuffed like a tick groaning with a very visibly full stomach. My 5 year old said to me "I don't eat until I'm stuffed because I don't want to get a stomach ache." Then she went up to dad and patted him on the head and said "I make better decisions." I about died laughing.
Then there is my 2 year old...our dogs were roughhousing and she got between them to break them up and said "Not acceptable." So I learned she has a new vocabulary word!
.
A few months ago my 10 year old son had the stomach flu. I told him that he would be staying home that day from school. He then said to me: "Of course I have to stay home today Mom!" If I go to school and throw up there, that would so ruin my reputation! " Lol.
Great question! :)
My 4 year old came up to me last week and said, "Mom, if you were a stupid dummy I wouldn't tell you because I love you. But, if my friends called you a stupid dummy I would PUSH them in time-out!"
Then yesterday while sloooooowly showing Grandpa every single baby picture of herself, she lovingly looked at him and said, "Grandpa, you look old."
