I want your opinion in a toy, if you have an experience with it much much better.
I bought Alphie, initially I got it for my son, he is 4, turning 5 on April. I am not sure if he is too old for this cute robot.
Could be for my girl, but she is 2 and the box says 3+. I do have the experience that giving a toy before the kid is actually ready to play with it will only make the toy be not fully appreciated and not used to its full capacity.
Apparently Alphie is a toy that has been around for years and years. I am not familiar with it, so maybe if you know Alphie you can help with my thoughts of my boy being to old and my girld too young.

Thank you so much!

I had an Alphie in Kindergarten and loved it! I would stick with it for your older son b/c (unless it has changed), you insert different cards to play various learning games. You can interchange the cards with more challenging ones as he gets older.

Stick with it!! I LOVED my Alphie when I was a kid! Mine is actually still at my mom's house, but we don't have the cards for it anymore, so all the kids just push all the buttons to hear the bleeps and bloops, lol.

My son just received Alphie for his 3 year birthday. He LOVES it. He has a friend that turns two next week and it only held her attention for two minutes. I think a four year old would like it. It is a wonderful/educational toy.
