Considering trying "Alli"(weigh loss supplement). Can you share your experience and whether it works? I'm currently working out and doing the portion control. Just want to lose a couple extra pounds before my wedding in 9/10.

What can I do next?

I took them several years ago, and CRAPPED myself...sorry to be so vulgar, but it is the truth...LOL!!! If you plan on eating anything with fat in it, don't take them or you will be hauling butt to the bathroom. I have to admit it is funny now! All the best!

I do not like any pills, many end up being recalled. It is still new.

Good Luck!

I know people that have successfully used it, and of course there are big changes needed to use this one. The one thing that has come up recently is that the FDA is making the company include some special wording or similar due to a warning about it. I cannot recall what it was and it was not something to pull it off the shelves but consumers had to know before deciding. You might be able to google to find it. It was in the past month or 2.

I had been contemplating trying Alli for over a year. I was very concerned about not being able to live a normal life due to "bowel incontinence", but finally decided to go ahead and give it a try. I've been taking it for exactly 7 days now, and i've lost exactly 6 lbs. I've been trying to watch what I eat, but honestly I know I haven't been doing as well as I could. The funny thing is, I haven't had any problems with loose stools. In fact the opposite has happened . . . I seem to be a little constipated. Well maybe not constipated, but before Alli I had a regular bowel movement at the begining of each day, and now I don't. I find that I don't "go" as often as I did before. But when I do, I have this oily orange colored discharge in my stool. Which from what i've read, I assume is the fat. I did some research and found that everyone's reaction to Alli may not be the same, and it seems I may be one of the lucky ones. I don't know if it will work for you, but my suggestion is to give it a try. You never know, it may work for you too.

I was actually in the origional test group for Alli and I have to say I was not impressed at all. You have to watch your fat intake at every meal and with every snack. Too much fat and you ended up with oily stool (which looks like the oil off pizza). Passing gas can lead to oily discharge. Not cool at all. I stopped taking it (and remember I was getting it for free) because it was too stressful watching my fat intake with everything I put in my mouth.

I had good success with portion control and adding more veggies to my daily food intake. I wouldn't recommend Alli.

You might as well take 2-3 laxatives. I've heard that it feels about the same and would be much less expensive.
