**** EDIT******* Weight Watchers is great but you really have to commit to the plan which is, basically, a lifestyle change.
If you really want a more healthy way to live and eat without the pills or the meetings, go to http://www.diabetes.org/home.jsp and look at their information and recipes. You absolutely DO NOT have to be a diabetic to enjoy a "diabetic" diet (which is not a diet but a healthier eating plan created by dieticians and nutritionists).
yes, I've tried it. Personally, I like it but it's really something not every one should do. It definitely blocks the fat as the fat "passes" right through your system (if you get my meaning). It really takes some getting used to.
Now, the thing I like about it is that it actually helps control acid reflux disease. I don't get nearly as many heartburns as I did before. And my intestinal tract doesn't hurt so much. I also found it helps a great deal to control lactose intolerance. At least it did in me, of course it can be different in someone else.
CONS: You ABSOLUTELY have to take vitamins when you're on this stuff because it blocks a lot of vitamins going in your system. I found myself weak a lot the first week because I wasn't taking my vita's like I should have. When I'm on the Alli, I take 2 a day (not 3 like the bottle says) and 2 vitamins but not at the same time. Give the Alli time to let the fat pass through then take a vitamin. One in the morning. One at night. But take the Alli with meals so it can attach the fat blockers to the fat.
Don't take the Alli with Olive oil based meals. Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) is wonderful for your system and has the good fats in it to give you a healthy body. Take the Alli only if you're going to eat out at fast food restaurants or something.
Make absolutely sure you're eating right when you're on this product because if you have an unhealthy diet to begin with, this product will be so incredibly temporary, it's not funny. This product is NOT a substitute for eating the right foods. Eventually, you'll find that you won't need the Alli so much if your diet is lean and healthy (and fresh!).
If you have any more questions, give me a shout.
