I have no idea. I really don't know how people remember things like this.
I must be missing the file cabinet in my brain that stores random childhood milestones.
At what age did your kids go down a slide alone?
My 17 month old goes down most slides by herself, including big ones -like tube slides. She is the youngest of three, but very physically capable of keeping up with the older kids. My son was more hesitant,,but he did the tube slide at 21 months. I can't recall with my oldest, but she was climbing and sliding down almost anything I threw at her from the beginning. She is a monkey.

I don't remember exactly. Just before or around age 2.
Don't remember for sure but I can tell you that my kids were both VERY active from an early age. I can tell you that both did everything independently earlier than other kids their ages at the time.
My daughter wasn't even 2 (18 months or so) and was climbing on things meant for 7-12 year olds and she was fearless about it!
My daughter was as soon as she had the body stability to do so, lol.
It's funny, because she broke her arm shortly after she turned 3 and wasn't allowed to slide with the cast on(because of where/ the way she broke it, bumping the cast too hard would cause issues.) and refused to go on slides after that... It has been over a year, and she has only recently started going on them again. Lol.
Our daughter was given a Tiny Tikes slide when she was 1 years old. But she had been walking unassisted since she was 6 months.
We still were close by at the playgrounds as she climbed the ladder and slid down.. till about 2 years old. Mainly because it freaked other people out so see such a young child climbing and sliding unassisted.
I would say between 14 and 18 months. They were all over the big structure at the Y, and we were at the school playground almost daily.
oh man...this is going back in time for me...I would say around 2 - when they were walking on their own without assistance...climbing, etc.
Let her go!! She's learning hand-eye coordination and much more! This is so much fun!! I loved watching my kids try new things and do things on their own!!
I usually keep them (the slide) on their side until the child is 2. We have a fairly tall slide, is why.
By 10 months my baby was doing the smaller slides on the Little Tikes stuff, though.
My son did alone at 16 months
