Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get poop stains off baby clothes? I would hate to think that his outfits are ruined...

What can I do next?

My daughter seems to have a 'blow out' every time she wears an outfit for the first time. LOL. I swear by Oxy-Clean. So far, we've been able to wear every single outfit again. :) Good luck!

I second the Totally Toddler Wash. It is great! Just make sure you get it on the stain as soon as possible and try not to let it sit in the laundry basket for too long!

Totally Toddler is good and I also have had good luck with Dawn dish washing soap. Just try to clean the stain asap and scrub with the Dawn. It really breaks down the stain. Congrats on your new baby!!

I found that Oxy Clean works great. You have to let them soak for about 24 hours, but it does the trick. I used it on my son's underwear when he first went thru potty training. I couldn't believe how many stains it did remove. Some I had to leave a little longer, but it worked.
Good Luck

The Spray & Wash Dual Action works great. I pour it on, let it sit for an hour or so, and then if the stain isn't out I put it on again and wait a while longer. I've always had success with the poop stains on baby clothes and I even got 2 year old fish blood out of one of my husbands shirts that way. Don't let it sit too long on colored clothes though because it can discolor them if it sits too long. If the stain is fresh you can just put it on and throw is in the washer and the stain will come out, but if the stain has set then it takes a little while. Hope this helps!

I use Grease Lightning on all of our stains. It takes out anything, ketchup, poop stains, baby food, all of the hard stuff. Spray it on and let it sit for 5 minutes then wash it. If the stain hasn't come out the first time, spray again while wet (although I have sprayed after it dried and it still came out) and wash it again. My daughter ruins every outfit with her poops, and so far, every single one has come out. Good luck!

there is a product that you can buy at Babies R Us and also at Burlington Coat Factory called Totally Toddler...it is a stain and odor remover made for baby's clothes...I use it all the time and have used it in the past for cloth diapers...it has no bleach or harsh chemicals and works wonders!

I've been using Oxyclean on my son's outfits. I set our washer to soak (small load, hot water), dump in the Oxyclean and the offending articles then leave them, sometimes as long as overnight. After they're done soaking I add more water plus detergent and then run the washer like I normally would. It even worked on a few things I put in the dryer before I notice the poo stains.
Basically - soak them in Oxyclean and then wash them so that you get all the Oxyclean out.
Haven't lost an outfit yet.
I've also heard that if you leave poop stained diapers to dry in the sunlight it will bleach them clean - don't see why it wouldn't work with clothing. Our yard is all shady so I haven't actually done this myself but have been told it works by people I trust. :)
