I'm looking for a new dishwasher and I just don't want to spend a lot of money for fancy features....can you ladies suggest a good, real quiet dishwasher that don't need prewash dishes?????
thank you!
OK LADIES....
Thank you very much for your advice and I'm quite sure I'm going to buy a whirlpool gold III quiet partner. I just made a big mistake and I want to tell you all so that hopefully you'll be more careful then me. I went on line and I tried to buy a Bosch (one of the best rated dishwasher) for a very good price since is a 2006 model. after I placed the order I received an e-mail from the customer service that let me know that it would have been shiped Nov 6.....So I tried to cancel my order because I want the dishwasher earlier and they told me that I have to wait up to 7 days to have a confirmation that my order was canceled!!!!!! WHATTTTTTTTTTT I can't wait that long....anyway, to make the story short....DO NOT EVER SHOP AT HOMECLICK.COM never....the service is slow and disorganized.....
I hope I'll be able to get a new dishwasher anytime soon!!

We bought the Bosch and love it. Several friends have kitchen aid and maytag and they are not near as quiet....we purchased the $700 version. It has been several years and I think some lower priced versions are coming out now. Check the Consumer reports...
good luck!
We just bought a whirlpool gold at Christmas. I love it. We paid about 300.00 at the Sears outlet in grapvine mills. My husband installed it to save on installation.
We have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner I and love it. We have had it for over 2 years, it was probably around $300 (+/-) and you really don't have to prewash, it holds alot and the feature on it that I love is the delayed start. In the evening when I need to run it I get everthing ready and they have it start after we are in bed, not that it is really loud, but then I don't forget, but I don't have to listen to it.
We bought a new home in Alen this year and i came with a stainless steel Whirlpool Quiet Partner III. I absolutly LOVE it. And since it was the builder-installed brand, I am sure it isn't super expensive.
I have had two Kenmore dishwashers that were mid-priced for the brand that were great even when compared to my super expensive Kitchen Aid. I would recommend saving the $600 and getting a Kenmore that doesn't have a bunch of bells and whistles.
Lowes has some really nice diswashers. We just bought a wirlpool and I thought it was resonibly priced and it's really quiet. I have ran it while having people over and the one girl asked why all the lights were on and when I told her I was running it she was really shocked.
