Most pre-natal vitamins are too low in the "skin" nutrients such as ACE and B's. Check out Integrative Therapeutics... great line!
Hi Ladies-
I am pregnant with my second child. I am about 8-9 weeks pregnant and have broken out pretty bad around my chin and cheek area. It is more of cystic acne and I am so not happy. I dont even want to look at my face. It is in clumps and I know it is hormonal, but I need some hep. I have been using Proactive for 5 plus years and I was free and clear of acne in my first pregnancy. I took Accutane 5 years ago which I thought would clear up my acne.
I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and have been married for 4 1/2 years to a wonderful father and husband. Any help would be appreciated..My esthetician recommended Emergin C to hekp me and/or Sonia Remy. Anyone heard of these or tried them?

C.,
I am a Mary Kay Consultant and I have a couple of customers who had this happen. Both just added our acne gel to their routine just when they needed it. Our acne gel is only $7 and you use only when you see a break out. Just so you know one of my customers used a our skin care the other one did not but both found the ance gel perfect for their temporay problem. Please feel free to check this product out on my website www.marykay.com/reamycolor101 no strings attached.
take care
I had pretty bad acne while PG, about 5 years after taking accutane. What worked for me was switching my cleanser to Cetaphil and not using a toner at all. My old cleanser was too was too drying - and the toner was worse. My skin has been pretty clear since. Bonus: It's CHEAP! You can even get it in a 2-pack at Costco!
Good luck!
Oh boy do I remember this from my pregnancy. I thought that most women blossomed whilst pregnant but most days I felt so ugly with spots on my face. My skin became really dry and irritable. I used to use Arbonne skin care but it made the spots worse.
I tried a great skin care line that you can buy from Target called 'Boots'. It's a British company that have mild acne products as well as sensitive skin products. They're cheap and they really worked for me. I mixed the products so for example I would wash with the acne facial wash and then use the sensitive skin daily moisturizer.
Hope all clears up soon.
That happened to me as well...not sure why. I have not heard of those meds before but you might as well try and see. I remember my face clearing up about the 4 or 5 month. Hope it works out for ya :)
