I've been hearing and reading a lot of success stories regardig Acai Berry and weight loss. There are so many Acai Berry products online that I was wondering if anyone has tried any and if so had success in losing weight? Also, is anyone taking Acai Berry while breastfeeding?

What can I do next?

Breast feeding is an incredibly selfless act, one that does take a commitment, please do not lessen that for yourself or your baby. Be patient and give yourself some breathing room. If you can commit to breastfeeding you can commit to eating right and taking a walk when possible. There is no quick fix, nor is it worth changing your bond with baby. Looking back years from now you will never reget waitng till you are done feeding your baby to try something.

I'd be concerned for the baby about trying a new supplement while you're breastfeeding. The safest and best proven way to lose weight is Weight Watchers. They have a special plan just for breast feeding moms. It is so easy, safe for you and the baby, and you make it a way of life for the whole family. Eating better, eating appropriate servings, a little exercise, a lot of support and knowledge. What a great gift to your family - to teach them from day one!
If you can't be bothered with preparing wholesome meals, Dream Dinners makes WW friendly meals and all you have to do is heat them up. Stick with 1 portion size at each meal, cut out the junk in between, and you'll lose weight without even trying.

I would think that a 5 month old, a 2 year old, breast feeding, walking with your baby in a carrier and a healthy diet should be enough.

I wouldn't buy into any gimmicks. Weight loss comes from a healthy lifestyle. I love 45lbs of baby weight by eating right, breast feeding and working out. Good luck!

I got a sample bottle on line for a $1..... The day I got it I checked my bank account and they took out another 29.95... I did some research and found out that this has happened to a TON of people and it would have continued to go one... I had to fight with someone on the phone from the company to reverse the charges... It was a pain.. I haven't taken the pills yet.. partly cause I am so upset about the scam... I would BUY FROM a store.

I wouldn't take it while breastfeeding... it is supposed to keep you from getting hungry.. .if your baby/toddler is hungry they NEED TO EAT!!! :)

Good luck and I can't wait to hear how it works from you... A REAL PERSON!!! :)

I don't think taking any type of weight loss supplement while nursing is a good idea. the only way to really release weight and keep it off is to change your eating habits. I just finished a class called the Healthy Edge and changed my vitamins to a company called Usana (they are science based) The weight loss will come when you learn it's all about changing you life style and eating habits. I lost 3% of my body fat, 2 1/2 pounds, plus 2 inches of my belly and hips in six weeks. I didn't do it for the weight loss, i'm 5.5 & about 120lbs. So that wasn't my goal. It was to learn a better way to keep my family healthy and get rid of the procedded foods. Eat every 2 - 3 hours and not garbabge, eat whole foods. a great snack is an apple with a handful of nuts. or salad for lunch with lean meat. But eat, eat, eat. And drink at least 80 oz of water a day. when you can do a litle exercise. And it doesn't have to be much. 15 minutes is better than nothing. Do some squats, sit ups, push ups, lunges, jumping jacks. I think you get my point. Do 4 sets of 20 roating each exercise. then do 25 each the next week. You will be amazed at what it will do for your body. Feel free to contact me directly. It has thanged my life and i would love to share.

You can get pure, frozen, pureed acai berry at New Seasons. Last I checked they had both sweetened and unsweetened, though that was a while ago. I'd feel a lot better about that than a "supplement" which may or may not have other stuff in it (not to mention not very much acai berry).

(I've never heard of the weight loss aspect. Good luck.)

I don't know anyting about Acai Berry supplment, but I have tried and sold a few products and the one I do now I like the best and it is the easiest, most reasonable, and tastes the best, medifast, soy based meal replacements. We have bestimonies and I have pictures of people who have lost over a hundred pounds and are not flabby... but firm to the point people didn't believe them until they showed a before and after pictures.
