I am six weeks pregnant and this morning I notice blood when I went to the bathroom. At first I didnt think of it because I been told that alittle spotting happens and I had some with previous pregnancy. However it has been getting heavy ( not to the point where I need a pad), I dont have cramps or a fever but the doctor told me just to call her if it gets real heavy and needing pads. Just looking for any advice and any help calming my fears.

So What Happened?

Well I went to the doctor this morning and they found that I indeed had miscarry. They believed that I didnt even make it pass 4-5 weeks. I am sad but I know that your body does things for a reason and know what is good for it. We plan on trying again in a few months or so. Thank you to all who responded.

I hope that everything is Ok. I would immediately put your feet up and try and get some rest. If you've had some minor bleeding with previous pregnancies, it may be normal. Also, it's right around the time of implantation bleeding I think. If it helps ease your mind, you may want to have your doctor do a few days of blood work or an U/S to ensure that everything is going smoothly. That way you know what exactly is going on.

ok A. i sorry but i dont think what im about to say is really going to make you feel at ease. so with my first pregnacy i think i was about 8 weeks and went pee and found blood. i freaked and called my mom. my mom took me to the emergency room because of the time. well i almost miss carried! i dont wanna say thats what is going on with you but you should go get checked. im not sure why your doctor told you to just call her when it gets really heavy. my opinion, by the time that happens you may misscarry. like i said im sorry but i know thats what happened to me. i've heard of people spoting at the fisrt few months, but you should still get checked soon. well really good luck

I have heard that it is just bourroughing(I have no idea how to spell it) into your uterus. If you are that concerned about it then by all means go to the dr. At the very least it is nothing and you can rest easy. This is there job! You won't be the first person going for this or the last! It is Friday, unless they have weekend hours you will have to wait until Monday.
Good Luck!

I don't know if it will help you or not, but I had some light bleeding on my last pregnancy. My issue was that I had a very small tear in my placenta..it healed itself over, but the doctor at least did an ultrasound to check and make sure that baby was ok and that it wasn't anything serious. I think, just to be safe, you should ask your doctor to do an ultrasound and check your placenta out. It might be nothing!!

Hope it helps.

If it helps, I had this same thing happen with 2 of my 3 pregnancies. Early in the pregnancy, I'd have a little bit of bleeding, but also no cramps or other problems. My doctor pretty much said the same thing yours did...told me to take it easy and call if it got worse. This never caused any complications with my pregnancies and I gave birth to three very healthy babies.

From my personal experiences, I would get that checked out asap and prepare your mind for the worst. Sorry, that's my 2 cents.
