As always thanks for always being there for me Mommy's!
So we all know Gabby had an "off" day today so her schedule was off. But bigger picture - Do you think i should just follow her lead? My concern is that after lunch things get to be a little off at times:
She has 8 oz of formula before breakfast and lunch and then i wait an hour to give her solid meals. For breakfast and lunch she CHOWS down. Then she's not totally into her 4pm bottle so i've been waiting until 5pm and then dinner at 6pm. Her bed time bottle is typically at 9pm however when i've been pushing back her dinner bottle and meal she's not terribly interested in that 9pm bottle. I know the pedi is fine with her getting only 21 ounces of formula at a minium so i feel okay about that BUT do you think i should stop letting her eat as much as she wants for breakfast and lunch?
I'd drop the 4:00 bottle & let her have dinner, then a bottle before bed.
Let her eat. She will tell you(as she does with her bottles) if she is not hungry. She is fine. Yes, follow her lead to a point. You dont want to be around her schedule. Schedule is very important, but more so, so she knows when play time is, verses bed time. If she has that under control, just go with the flow a bit.
Your daughter will let you know when she is full. Unless your pediatrician is concerned about you daughter gaining too much weight, just let her eat what she wants. Your daughter is a growing child and she needs that food for that growing process.
I wouldn't worry about it, I think you should wait and see what she needs.
