Could he be allergic to something on his head? What does his skin look like? My daughter would scratch her face sometimes, we just kept her fingernails clipped and socks on her hands, they're not as warm as gloves. He also could have cradle cap. As for the gas, you could just give him gas drops when he eats. Some adults have to do that anyway, but do you think he's lactose intolerant? My daughter was pretty much mostly formula till she was a year old, with maybe a few bites of real food a day. His body may not be ready for solid foods. Just my two cents. Plus he's a man, you ever known a man without gas? wink
