N.P.
If you think your child might be interested, you can call your local fire department and plan a visit there. They don't charge anything (I took them some food, and they were more than happy with that). The firefighters are great with kids, and in the summer they usually let the kids try out the fire hose. We had my son's 5th birthday party at a firehouse, and the girl and boy guests all had a great time climbing around the fire trucks and seeing where the firefighters worked. You may have to be a bit flexible with the time, since the firefighters may have to go out on a call. After the party, we went to the local pizza place that had a kid's play area (we rented it out ahead of time), but a visit to a park for cake would probably work just as well. Good luck with party planning!
