My 5 year old failed the hearing screening at school. I need a referal to a good ENT in the Kingsville or Corpus Christi area. It is probably just a reoccuring problem with excessive ear wax, but I'm tired of dealing with my pedi - he has no specific reccomendations.
Thanks! We called ENT associates and was able to get an appointment with Dr. Zane the very next week. He had a great manner with my son. As I suspected he quite a bit of ear wax. Once that was cleaned out, there was a little fluid in one ear. Dr. Zane said he had a slightly obstructed Eustachian tube and prescribed a nasal decongestant spray. His hearing test was OK once the wax was out.

I'm sorry to hear that your little one failed the hearing screening. My (then) two year old went to an audiologist at Driscoll Children's Hospital (Rehabilitation Sevices) in Corpus for a hearing screening. She only went once, but we really liked Richard Schmeling. He was really patient and good with her and didn't seem rushed and was patient with all of my questions too. The main number is ###-###-####.
