try pull-ups at night. We do with our 3 year old. Most of the time she doesn't wet. What we usually do is put them on over her regular underwear. It's normal. He may also have a medical condition. Have you asked his dr?
My son had begun peeing the bed this week. He has been potty trained for 6 months now and we have had no problems with bed wetting. Now all of a sudden he is peeing the bed at night. We limit his water already make him go potty before bed but he is still doing it. I don't understand how he can go from not wetting the bed to wetting the bed. I am tired of washing sheets please help if you can.
Oddly enough this week he has quit peeing the bed. No more accidents! YAY! We are still not sure why he did it but at least it has stopped. Thanks for all the good advice. If is happens again I will be sure to use it.

I wouldnt freak out just yet. It is normal for very young kids (and three is very young) to seem to be potty trained at night, but in reality their bladders are not developed enough for 8-12 hours of holding. Both of my kids still use diapers/pullups at night, and my daughter just turned 7. My 8 1/2 year old nephew still wets at night, but he is finally getting better. From personal experience, I would just let nature take its course. I have been to doctors, which you should do to make sure that there isnt something like an infection or internal problem for example, my sister in law was three when the same thing happened to her and she needed to have the tube to her bladder repositioned, but other than that I would invest in pullups and not make a big deal out of it, especially since expressing your frustration to your three year old will only make them more anxious about the problem and hurt his self esteem. Also, instituting a reward system that emphasizes success rather than failure also helps some.
It is normal for a child to wet the bed for years. However since your son has bed potty trained for several months at night I would check with your Dr. It could be a sign he is getting an infection.
As well, has he had an recent dietary changes? Especially any new beverages? If he has started drinking any new sugary based drinks recently I would cut those out for a few days and see if the problem goes away. I know with some children those can be the culprit even if they have had them earlier in the day.
In the past I have used pull-ups for my daughters at night. That saves a lot of effort when it comes to washing sheets. Until you know that there is a problem or that he just isn't done potty training yet, that could save you a lot of trouble!
