I am trying to deside on a birthday party place for my little girl. She will be two in March. Has anyone been to a party at The Little Gym, Pump it Up, or My Gym? Do you have any good ideas for a place to host the party?

We recently attended a Gymboree party. It was great!!! It was held at the Gymboree in Plano. They do everything for you. The kids had so much fun. My son loved the party favor.

I posted a referral for My Gym the other day, and it looks like someone else just posted one also. My son went to a 4-year-old's party there, and also took gymnastics classes there for a while, and LOVED it!

The My Gym in Frisco has a GREAT owner if you can get her to do the bday party. Her name is Gina. She is so fun. We have not had a bday party there, but my daughter took classes there and she was great. I am sure the others are good as well, but if you can, request Gina :)

I had my daughter's 3rd birthday at Pump It Up - and I will say that 2 is probably too young for Pump It Up (and it's pretty expensive). There is also a place in McKinney called "Animal House Parties" - that I'm going to look into for my daughter's 4th birthday this summer. For her 2nd we did a Zoo theme party at our house, FYI.

Good Luck!

I have been to a three year old party at Pump it up, and in my opinion, it is too advanced for that age. Most of the blowups target older kids than that - plus, it's quite expensive as parties go. I've been to parties at one of the other two and they are much more appropriate.

We've been to a 3 yr old's party at My Gym in Frisco and our holding our own 3 yr old's party at Jungle Gym in Frisco. I loved both parties and think they would work for a 2-yr old as well. There will probably be more parent involvement. I'd recommend stopping by a class for two yr olds, so you can kinda see how that runs. The structured events/free play are similar to birthday parties, but on party day, your little one is the King/Queen of the Jungle or Gym... the focus of the attention.

Good luck,
D.

I really like Little Gym. I have not been to the others you mentioned.

We've been to Pump It Up twice - it's great. Especially if you will be inviting any kids (like relatives) who are various ages. Might want to do it next year tho. Would be better spent on 3 and up since it's pretty athletic. I think the 5-yr olds had the best time.
