My 2 yr old daughter was asked to be in the Memorial Day Parade w/her big sister doing baton (walking w/ me behind the bigger girls, twirling her baton..shes really quite good)... The other girls are wearing an airforce one type dress (kinda flashy) with hat (navy blue)... The Owner of the studio told me just to find her something that would kinda go with it....she said something navy or patriotic .. I'm having a hard time finding anything, which kinda surprises me! Any suggestions where I should look? (she wears a 3T) Either a store in the area (i live in allen park, mi) or online? Thanks mommys!

Did you try Old Navy? They have cute sparkly skirts that are tutu looking and they have some of their Red & White & Blue shirts out…I saw some by the register yesterday. I would pop in there or look online. Usually they are reasonably priced and maybe you can get something that she can wear again this summer.
We sell a lot of Posh brand clothes for toddlers, they are more tutu type outfits but very adorable. We also sell a lot of dance outfits that could be "fixed up" to look like anything. I would think a solid navy blue leo and a hat or some other head decoration. Maybe some stars or a stripe or two affixed to the leo would be close enough. Something similar to the bigger girls can easily be sewn or made.

Anything red, white and blue should be fine. Maybe you can put glittery stars on it or something.
My daughter's both were baton twirlers. My youngest one twirled from 4yrs until she started highschool. She's now in college and misses twirling.
See if you can find a blue or white leotard and add a pair of blue or white shorts or a little skirt. I would look on line. I know we would get alot from Leo's dancewear. To make it sparkle you can glue on red and white rhinestones. I am sure she's going to be adorable.
