Hi everyone, I haven't been on in awhile, so any help on my son would help...my son will be 3 on sep 25th he is potty trained during the day and has been for about 4 months, sometimes at night he don't potty in his diaper, but when he does he takes it off and will go potty in his bedroom floor, in the hall way or his sisters room, if he does not wanna go down stairs, my whole upstairs smells like pee pee, I have scruped his floor with tide and a scrub brush, since his room is small.. he also has been known to just pee in the livingroom, so if anyone knows what to do or has any idea on how to stop this before I have to pull all my carpet up...I would really appreciate it, thank you---R.

He's doing so well, hate to see him go backwards, young to have even started, keep working on it with him, good luck. Now on the carpet, try to stream cl. w/OdoBan from Sams Club. If that does'nt work, try scope in a spray bottle, deluted w/water, test first to check color of carpet, so you are not dealing with color loss. Apt owners use this for cat odor, without buying new carpet. Best of luck to you.

Has he had to help clean it up? I might try that, if u don't think he's sleep walking. cleaning up is part of the toilet training process,if you think the child knows to go in the toilet, at least at my house with my child, and at the babysitter.if he's sleep walking then I'm not sure, I use to tape my childs diapers to her so she could not take them off before she was trained. masking tape works well on them.

Hi R.,
How about putting a potty chair in his room? Also, try using pet stain remover or vinegar and water to neutralize the urine smell. I hope it works.

Hello,

Not sure about the potty training, my son is only a year old. You might want to try enzymes that you buy from a pet store on the carpet. Nature's Miracle worked well for me. The trick is to saturate the area and let them sit for a while. I put them in a spray bottle instead of the container they come in, works great!

Are you sure he's not sleep walking? You could always place a small potty training potty in his room at night and explain to him that it's for during the night only! Are there enough lights on throughout his path to the potty?
