Lots of stomach bugs going around.
Why not go to the health department and get a test done there? That way you have a professional strength test results and can feel better.
There are health issues to consider other than pregnancy too.
Hello.
I am 38 years old, nearly 2 and half months late, my husband had a vasectomy 13 years ago. I know it is really a huge maybe, but is it still possible to be pregnant? I done a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. I am usually spot on with my period. I have been feeling nausea last few days and had some pain for few days left bottom abdominal area. Haven't been to dr. But think I might go some time next week, but would love to hear what you think?

Welcome to mamapedia, P.!!
If you are **THAT** late? Go to your doctor. You may be starting menopause or this could be perio-menopause.
You could be having a hysterical pregnancy - you are convincing yourself you are pregnant and working yourself up to a tizzy.
The test said NEGATIVE. Go to your doctor and find out what's going on.
If the test says no, then it's likely no. I would talk to your doctor about considerations like early menopause. Or a thyroid problem.
It is not outside the realm of possibility that you could be pregnant, but it's a big if.
um. possible?
sure.
most things are possible, however remotely.
likely?
no.

Every time I ever thought I had a highly unlikely pregnancy -- I wasn't pregnant. If the test says no, it's probably no. But you should probably see your doctor, because you haven't had a period for 2 months and you are experiencing pain.
Although there are women for whom early pregnancy tests do not work ever (even when they are 9 months pregnant), I think it's a fairly rare thing - and so I'd trust the test and say you are not pregnant.
There are many things that can mess with your period - pregnancy is only one of them.
Peri-menopause, fluctuating hormones, hysterical pregnancy, fibroids, to name a few.
Really - seeing your doctor is the best way to figure out what is going on.
It might be nothing serious or it could be something very serious - we have no way of telling, we can only guess and we know nothing of your health history.
Make a doctor appointment now.
Yes, I think you should go ahead with your plan to see your doc next week.
Could be perimenopause.
Go to your doctor. It sounds like the early stages of menopause, but you need to get a check up to be sure.
Sounds more like perimenopause. Take if from someone who's there.
I would go to your doctor.
Based on your information (negative test and husband's vasectomy) I would think, no you are not pregnant.
Could you write back here and let us know what is going on once you find out? I think many women would like to know why you missed 2 months if you are not pregnant.
