It's normal. She might do it tomorrow, she might do it two months from now. I wouldn't worry.
My 10 month old daughter has no interest in pulling herself up. I was wondering if this is normal since my son was pulling himself up at 8 months and walking at 11 months. It might be the worry wart in me and I'm trying not to push her because that usually backfires on the parents' end.
I was folding laundry yesterday in her room and she just out of the blue pulled herself up in her crib. In a day she's already a pro at it and walking around the crib. She hasn't tried the living room furniture yet but I know that will happen any time now. I wanted to thank all of you for the responses. They really made me feel better. As a mom you know the day will come when they make new accomplishments but when it takes a while, you worry. My baby girl is growing up and I guess now that she is standing on her own a little piece of me wishes she wasn't because she feels more toddlerlike.

Dont worry hon, she will. When she is ready.
Best wishes and God bless

My daughter didn't crawl and pull up til she was 11-1/2 months old. She walked at 15-1/2 months old. Basically as long as the is some how moving and working at moving they will get to the next stage. Doctor's only worry when a child isn't walking at 18 months.
Good luck,

My son did not pull him self up till he was 13 months old but he walked when he was 11 months old. we had to get him up For him to walk.. But he walked aroundw ith no problem. I asked my dr about this and he told me that it was no issue as he did not crawl he just did not have the idea to get him self up and now at 16 months he can pull him self up and get up off the floor with no help. I was told the age for this is up to 18 months if they cant do it by then..then worry.
For your own peace of mind you really should call Birth to Three and have an evaluation. My son did not crawl until 14 months and we discovered that he has low muscle tone (and this is after he had physical therapy from 6 months on due to being a preemie)
If there are any issues they can help you with them, if help is needed it will only be in all of your best interest:

My twin girls didn't crawl until 10.5 months and pulled up at 11.5. They were born at term so it's not just that they were twins, they were working on developing their language I think as they are quite the chatterboxes! Maybe your daughter is working on developing other skills and the motor skills will come later. Boys tend to walk earlier than girls anyway. Not to worry! There is a healthy range of learning to walk...if she doesn't walk by 15 months, talk to your pediatrician. Otherwise, enjoy her as she takes her time to discover all the things she can do!
It really is true babies are individuals and they all do things at their own rate. I wouldn't worry about it yet (although it natural as a mom to worry about everything!!! LOL). You can certainly discuss any concerns with your pedi at your daughter's one year appointment. But in the meantime I would just be encouraging her to move around (crawling, rolling, reaching, climbing etc) and develop her muscles. Your daughter might not be ready to pull herself up yet physically or she might not have the desire. You can encourage her to pull herself up by putting objects a little bit out of her reach and see if she has the desire to get them. Who knows? She might surprise you by doing this any day now.
