Hi L.,
I work in the schools, and there's something "going around" right now, a cold or something, that has symptoms like you describe.
Give it a week before you assume it's allergies.

My 10 month old has had a runny nose and a little cough (sounds productive)for about two days now. I have them pretty bad but his dad does not seem to have them. He has had a little trouble sleeping, and he sounds stuffed up, but he does not have a fever. I know that lots of people in the Abq area are having problems with allergies, so I am wondering if he might have them too? I have them pretty bad but his dad does not seem to have them. are there any products out there for baby allergies if that is what he has?

I won't be of too much help, except to say there is a wonderful herbs for kids class here:

The teacher goes over allergies and everything she suggests is safe for babies. Allergies are always a big topic. The next one is next week.
My only other suggestion would be to try homeopathic remedies because they are so safe. Some people have great success with homeopathics, though some less.
Maybe try some saline drops. You can get some that are specifically for infants. I would elevate his head when he sleeps and try a warm mist humidifier. I would talk to your ped before attempting anything for allergies just to be safe.
There is a horrible cold going around right now, runny nose, cough that lasts for weeks. Both of my kids and husband have this and all three got fevers about 3 days after there first symptoms appeared.
That said, my friend's pediatrician recommended children's Zyrtec for her 9 month old when she was having runny nose and congestion. I believe she was told to give her 1/2 teaspoon, but call your Ped to check.
