Around 11mos, my son's first year molars were coming out and he would only eat applesauce (and bottles) for a month. Very frustrating, since he ate everything up till then. Het went back to eating everything, until his second year molars :)
my son from day one has been a wonderful eater. never once turned his head from ANY food. for the past 2 days all he wants are his bottles and cheerios!?! he wont let me spoon feed him his baby food or anything. could this be teething issue?
or just a phase.

My 11 month old does this occasionally. Just keep offering him foods and he will eventually eat. Probably just a phase related to teething.
I wouldn't worry yet....two days of bottles + cheerios really isn't too bad. If it continues for more than a week, and you don't see any teeth coming through...I would have his ped. check him out.
Sounds like either teething or a sore throat. Most likely teething. My kids all did this while teething. This is the time of year though for colds. I think that if his sinus were bothering him though he would also refuse the bottle. If his throat was sore he would not want to swallow. Probably teething.
My DD won't eat anything when she's teething. Sometimes she will take puffs, and she will nurse (less than usual though) but throws a fit about anything else.
my dd is 10 months and was an awesome eater until recently, now only eats mush if dads feeding, I have to do finger foods that she can feed herself, or else she shakes her head no, and sends everything flying... she is loving ravioli these days, so i make that, chop it up, & she feeds herself. (along with everything else but she loves that!) Ive also noticed she prefers big people food now to baby food, so i guess its time to move on from mush.
A. S. He is old enough that you should be able to start incorporating the foods you eat into his diet, like a little mashed potatoes, some oatmeal, yogurt stuff like that. He might be bored with the diet you are offering him. Try to liven up his taste buds some, That might be his issue with eating. Your pediatrician with tell you he won't starve he will eat if he is hungry, but as a parent you worry any way. Well Good luck. J.
let him eat the cheerios. he may not want a spoon in his mouth if he is getting teeth. give him some infant tylenol and some hylands teething tablets. both together work great. good luck
