10 Minute Work Out Question and 30 Day Trial Question...

Tony Horton (I think that's his last name), one of the makers of P90X came out with a new 10 minute work out program (vs the old program)... and I was wondering if anyone has tried it and what they thought?

We're big fans of P90X but don't have the time to dedicate to it; I want to get into something, and my husband's been talking about going to the gym, so I thought a good compromise would be working out at home together (vs solo and taking twice as much time), but I don't want to spend the money unless I'm certain it's something we're serious about... and I want to know it works ;)

It's like $15 or $20 to try it for 30 days... does that really work? Like if we hate it, we send it back and that's it? Has anyone had experience with this?

What can I do next?

I liked 10 minute trainer. We did it after our second son was born. Don't remember how much my hubby lost but I lost 15lbs in a month and saw definite changes in my body. I was doing good but didn't stick with it bc we did start to get board with the same routines, but it did work! I just needed to lose quite a bit so I ended up doing the whole gym and trainer route, which honestly did not work as well. So I say give it a try. Good luck!

I had the original 10 minute trainer and loved it. I say had because my kids lost my dvds. I love Tony. He is very motivating. I also have, should say had, the original Power 90 dvds that were a great workout. Another dvd my kids got hold of. A woman I used to work with bought a dvd set by Chalean, also through Beach Body, and had no problem returning them after 3 weeks. She couldn't keep up with them and got a full refund, no questions asked.

Rosemary and I do the Total Gym...it's no more than 15 minutes per day - folds up and doesn't take up much room.

DVD that comes with it has the program for men and women...

I have a girlfriend and a manfriend (! LOL!) who have done the P90X and he is ripped now - and he's 50+ years old. He says he feels BETTER than he did in his 20s. My girlfriend isn't ripped but she's in great shape!

Check out customer reviews on Amazon . com, this might help you make the decision. Geez, it is a lot of money for 4 10 minute workouts though!

I did the Jillian Micheals 20 minute workout. Totally doable but definitely still a good workout. :)

I don't know about the tony horton ones.
