Hi everyone... I just found out that I'm pregnant and very very happy about that. That would be my no.2 I already have a 4year old boy and few months ago in March I had a miscariage...so now I'm a little afraid to get exiced so soon because that happened to me last time... Anyway, my question is how early we are able to "feel" pregnancy? My last period was on August 7th which means that is very very early begining. Howevher I really feel strange. I did a p. test last thursday cause my period was late and also my breast already almoust doubled the size (niples so sensitive that hurts!), my stomach is hard and looks in once like a 4 months pregnancy! What's going on here? According to numbers our baby was concieved on Aug 21st so that is not even 4 weeks! I also feel crampy and deazy sometimes. I know every pregnancy is different but this is crazy! I made appointment with a doctor for Sep 30st so that few more weeks to go... Has anyone experienced something like that? Please share with me your thoughts cause I am really getting worry...

well I don't knwo if this will help you or not but in theory.... the more symptoms you have the more hormones you have and therefore the less likely you are to miscarry...so even if the symptoms are freakin you out there's a good chance they are a good sign!

Congratulations!
Remember that every time you have a pregnancy, it can be very different how your body responds. Your body is already prepped to be pregnant because of your first child. You may look like you are pregnant a lot earlier than you did with the first and also further along. The symptoms come earlier. Also you are more aware of what is happening.

What is amazing is that if you were to have a third child it could be totally different.

It actually takes the human body a full 5 years to totally recover from each pregnancy. That means internally.

Hang in there. I know you are worried because of your last pregnancy, but just try to be positive.
I am sending you positive thoughts.

Just like the song says - Don't worry, be happy. Nearly all women have several miscarriages, a lot don't even know it. In the olden days, we didn't have all these home pregnancy tests, and you went to the doctor after you had missed two periods and were past ten weeks or more when you were official. Lots of women thought they were late, when it was in fact an early miscarriage. The hormones of pregnancy are strong and can be felt early on. You are reporting what many women feel when they start the pill. I "knew" I was pregnant both times within days of conception - one throw up only. All your symptoms are normal. The big belly may be colon slow down from hormone and your stress of excitement and worry. Eat plenty of fiber, drink your 64 oz of water (soda does not count!)and work on the five or more servings (1/2 cup or more) of fruit and vegetables for the day. Stick to lean meats (if you eat) and complex carbohydrates. Good timing for teaching your four year old how to eat right. You can start the whole family on a lifetime of healthy eating. Pamper yourself until your appointment. Take a walk now that it is cooling down in the evenings or in the mornings. I have enjoyed becoming reacquainted with my patio and back yard this past week. Good Luck

I had morning sickness a few days before my missed period. I also had allergy symptoms which the doctor said was increased mucus due to pregnancy which was not the diagnoses until a week later when I missed my period. Some mother's bodies react right away. Don't worry. Stress is not good for you. See if your doctor could see you sooner. Good luck.

If you feel this much so early, it could be multiple. More babies, more hormones. Or you period in Aug was not a true period and you are more pregnant than you think. THe Dr. should be able to tell you more.

Hey there! I'm so glad you posted this! I am in your same boat but for me, I have experienced very mild symptoms. It is our second one and I found out about 10 days after conception. My last p was 8/4 and I tested positive on the 29th...before I even missed my period. I've wondered if it's twins, haha! Every body is different towards pregnancy but it's good that you are showing signs! My concern was that I am not really feeling pregnant but I don't have any bleeding so I'm just going to count my blessings while it lasts. I have experienced cramping with both current pregnancy and my first pregnancy. They felt somewhat like menstrual cramps but I called my doc and they said it's normal as the uterus is stretching so as long as there isn't bleeding, to not worry. Call your doc to be safe though! Congrats!!!!

I am almost 9 weeks pregnant with number 2. I started having symptoms almost immediately with my 1st and now this one. I started having morning sickness at 4 1/2 weeks and sore breasts, pretty crampy around the time I should have started, I also started showing around 5 weeks and had a little bump. This is all definitely possible and normal. :) Congratulations!!!

it sounds like your prego to me. with our first i told my hubby that i was prego. he wanted to take a test right away and i told him it was too early. of course it came out neg but we took another one a few weeks later and sure enough it was positive. with our second one i also told him i was prego before any missed periods. so yes all the symptoms that you are experiencing sounds like your pregnant.i also had a misscarriage but was told to wait a year before i tried to get pregnant again. then i had the two healthy pregnancys. congrats!

Breast tenderness and a hard belly (feels like an iron balloon!) were some of the first symptoms I had of my second pregnancy. As for the size of your belly--all your abdomninal muscles were stretched out with you first pregnancy, so the second will show sooner.

As for the cramps--I would call and ask the doctor's office what to do. You might need to stay off your feet for a while. I understand how frightened you can be after a miscarriage, but many women have healthy babies after a previous miscarriage.

I had signs of pregnancy for about 2 weeks and i just ignored them and just figured i was tired as i had just moved into a new home and moved my mother from an apartment into our other home so for a good month i did nothing but pack and move things so i didn't even think i was pregnant...but once i was 10 days late i took a home pregnancy test...i would recommend seeing your doctor right away since you just recently had a miscarriage...it will help put your mind at ease to atleast know that you are truly pregnant and they can do a vaginal ultrasound to make sure everything looks ok and also check your hormone levels...i saw my doc just 2 days after taking the test and it really helps ease your worry atleast a little bit....well congratulations and i pray that you have a healthy baby in about 9 months!!

Echoing what others are saying, it sounds like you are pregnant and the symptoms seem pretty normal. HOwever if you are feeling any discomfort or cramping and are worried definitely call your OB to fit you in sooner.

One other thing I wanted to mention is that it is possible you are further along than you think. many times you can have a period but still be pregnant. I know a few women who had their period for a few months (one for 6 mos) before they knew they were pregnant.

Good luck!

Don't wait until Sept. 30th. Call with your concerns and anyone would have to come in that day or the next. It is probably nothing, but you will go crazy waiting. Go see your doctor be it family doctor or gyn.
