Family Vacation Ideas for Under $2500

2 adults, 1 DS (age 5), from Dallas area. Looking for a fun family vacation in June before Dad starts med school. Disney Cruises are pricey and none leave from TX adding the air fare would push it into rediculous. What do you suggest for a nice trip? Appreciate your help!
