Help with a Late Walker

Hi all. My DD is 17.5 mos and will only walk with a walker, holding onto furniture or by holding someone's hands. She is in Early Intervention as she had a hypermobility problems in her ankles and hips preventing he from walking. That has since been fixed, and she was doing great starting to walk on her own, and now she almost seems as if she is regressing. It is driving me crazy! All the other kids in her playgroups, etc are walking well, and running. I want to be able to have her play in our big backyard and the parks with the other...

Weaning from Bottle

My son will be 1 next week. He still takes 4 bottles a day. Each bottle is between 6 and 8 oz. He also still wakes up in the middle of the night for a bottle also. This one is about 5 oz. I would like to start weaning him from the bottle. When is a good time to do this and how do I do it? I started giving him a sippy cup when he was 6 months old, but he still won't drink out of it. He just plays with it. Any ideas to get him to drink from a sippy cup? Thanks!

Hello moms! I have 12 month old that signed her first sign to us at age 10 months and now is up to about 40- 50 signs. Mom Seeking Tips on Teaching Daughter How to Identify Letters

My daughter will be 3 next month. She is very smart in comparison to children her age. But the one problem I have is she does not know how to identify her letters. She knows her ABC's song so thats no problem. I bought her the Letter Factory leap frog dvd and that works well, she knows the sound of every letter. HOWEVER, she can't ID the letters themselves. My husband and I have toured a few preschools and are torn between which school we would like to send our son to. He prefers one, while I prefer another. I am curious to know what things you mommies looked for when deciding on a preschool for your munchkin. Hello, my little boy just turned 7 months old. I received a two pk. of the Munchking mesh fresh food teethers for my shower and have still yet to use them. My baby is eating stage 2 foods three x's/day and loves it! He is also heavily teething right now. I am not sure what to put in this thing. I have heard strawberries, but not sure of what else. I also heard of putting meat in them? Ew..what kind? Do your babies like this product? Thanks!

Thanks for the Fun at Munchkin Gym!

I had a wonderful time watching my 3 year old run around and fly through the air on things at Munchkin Gym this last Friday. I would have loved to have met some people but chasing a 3 year old and 1 year old didn't allow me to stop and chat much. I saw many with name tags but didn't get a chance to stop and visit. If anyone goes again next week I'd love to say hello. I am a little homesick and loved to get away to have some fun with my girls.

Having Descipline Issues with My 2 Year 5 Month Old.

Rescently My little munchkin has started something new.. She has done the typical throw herself down or stand and scream fits for her age. We deal with those by telling her to go to bed and we she is calm she can come talk to us about the problem. Bath Time for 5 Month Old!

I have a 5 month old son. He is VERY active, curious and always wanting to sit up. He cannot sit up by himself, although he tries very hard. I have a small tub I put him in for bath time with a reclining seat. He is able to use his tummy muscles to sit himself up and then bathing him is impossible!
