Small Talk!- Discovering Language & Learning Together
Justine Sherman & Associates introduces a new language based parent & child play program called Small Talk! Our program promotes child-parent interaction and play to facilitate language acquisition in a series of 8 unique classes for 5 separate age/ skill groups. Created and led by licensed speech-language pathologists, the series of classes is designed to teach parents how to work with their children on the specific skills appropriate to each distinct stage of language development. Parents will learn how to facilitate and expand their child’s language during everyday activities such as meal, bath and play time. Since focused and consistent verbal interaction at home is proven to enhance a child’s language, social and play skills we feel this program provides an ideal experience in a fun and social environment.
