Seattle Learning Center is a half-day preschool for children aged three to five (3-5) and operates from 8am-12pm.  The preschool focuses on learning through the arts and physical fitness.  The curriculum encourages curiosity and builds self confidence through art, music, dance, drama, science exploration, and physical fitness.  It also prepares kids to acquire skills they need to start school.  Seattle Learning Center also has a playcare program operating from 12-3pm.

Our school is located at 340 W Nickerson Street, the same site used by Martial Sports – a popular Queen Anne martial arts studio.  Because of this, the school is able to benefit from some of the already great features of the studio.  For example, it has a 1,600+ square feet padded floor space that is great for physical activities.  This also works as the perfect play area for the active young ones who love to jump, roll and play on the floor.

Seattle Learning Center is set up in the afternoon (12-3pm) as a playcare area for other preschool age kids to come and play while their parents do their errands.  The playcare features an obstacle course for the kids to play at.  This activity aims to develop the children’s gross motor skills and physical fitness.  The children will have two hours of active play.  The playcare will also have other fun toys and educational books to keep children busy and stimulated while waiting for their parents.  Parents can drop off their child on a daily basis or enroll in a weekly and monthly basis.
