My name is Rebecca Parkin. I am a certified teacher and have worked with Kindergarten/Preschool aged children for 10+ years. I teach Preschool/Pre-K and Kindergarten Enrichment programs from my home in the Evans Creek neighborhood near Bartley Ranch. This year I will have a 3-4 year old class on Mon/Wed 9:00-11:30 for those little guys who are ready for a semi-structured learning and play environment. On Tues/Thur. (9:00-11:30) my Pre-K students will be on site preparing for their up and coming Kindergarten year. Also on Tues/Thur. I pick up AM Kindergarten students at Huffaker Elementary @12:00 and we continue the day with enriching activities to enhance their Kindergarten experience. Children not attending Huffaker may also attend, however I do not provide transportation. All of my programs include Academic Centers: Phonic/Pre-reading, Hands on Math, Science Discovery, Art and Music, and Fine and Gross Motor Skill Development. We have monthly Thematic Units that include, Oceans, Space, Rainforest, Seasons, Holidays, Dinosaurs and more… Student teacher ratio is 5:1. Since my son's first day at Ready Set Go Preschool last August I have felt extremely fortunate to have found Miss Rebecca. She is awesome! Ready Set Go really is "The Perfect Preschool! My son will continue his education this fall with Miss Rebecca and her Pre-K program.
My two children have attended Ready Set Go and I can not begin to say enough good things about it. It is a nurturing and caring educational environment that is ideal for my children. Rebecca is awesome, she encourages the children's creativity and individuality. My kids are excited about school and have learned how to be respectful to there fellow students. I am so thankful that my children's educational beginnings started at Ready Set Go.
My daughter attended Rebecca Parkin's pre school for the past 2 years. Rebecca is an amazing teacher! She is fun-loving, creative and offers a unique pre school environment. My daughter always came home in the best mood and always had something to share that she learned that day. They did beautiful art projects which correlated to the theme in which they were learning. I truly recommend Ready Set Go pre school. My daughter is still talking about Miss Rebecca!
My twin daughters attended Ready Set Go as an enrichment to Kindergarten and had a wonderful experience. They were so excited to go twice a week and didn't even realize they were learning! They thoroughly enjoyed all the different aspects and as a parent I appreciated the extra learning they received. Definitely a great, safe learning environment.
