Business description (provided by the business owner):

I taught Kindergarten for 5 years and this will be my 5th year as a Preschool teacher. I have worked in several Headstart programs and preschools. My goal is to prepare your child academically, socially, emotionally, and physically for Kindergarten. I also teach many pre-reading skills throughout the year to help prepare your child to read. I work with children in small and individual groups in order to focus on each child’s needs. I follow the new state preschool core, and I know what is expected of your child before entering Kindergarten.

I teach several summer camps during the summer for children ages 4-10. Previous summers I have had the following camps: Art, Arts and Crafts, Science, Literacy (Nursery Rhymes) and a Harry Potter camp. For more information you may look at my website.

I highly recomend Parke Express Preschool. When my son was three I enrolled him in this preschool just to help socialize him. At the end of the year I was very impressed with how much he had learned! I have also enrolled my kids in the summer camps and loved them, they learned alot and had tons of fun in the process.

My daughter has been going to Parke Express for 3 months now. I put her in preschool mostly for the social aspect, she is an only child, and I wanted her to have good social skills and interaction with other children. I figured she would play games and fingerpaint...that's all I remember from my preschool days. lol. I've been amazed at what she comes home having learned each day. Before she didn't care about the alphabet when I would try to interest her in it, but now she sings the songs and gets all the letters right. She is starting to recognize alphabet letters, and points out numbers to me. The other day I was reading the ingredients/calories on a package and she took it from me and was looking at it and handed it back and said 28. There was a 28 on there. I was surprised--I know my daughter is smart but I didn't know she would be absorbing this much in preschool--there is play time, and treats--and there is learning. They color pages that are fun but also educational--I could go on and on, and believe me I do when people ask where my daughter learned her alphabet so well, or how does your 3 year old know how to count so high? I tell them I put her in preschool and I am confident with Mrs. Parke as the teacher that she will be ready for kindergarten. Truly, if you are looking for a preschool out in this area you won't find a better teacher or a better environment for your kid. If you want the big school, etc. feeling it won't be for you but if you want the individual attention of a truly passionate teacher, Parke Preschool is a really great choice. I would whole heartedly recommend it to anyone. (and I have)

Wonderful in-home preschool. Sarah is great with the kids and really prepares them for Kindergarten. Great materials and lots of variety.

Sarah really knows what she is teaching. I have sent my kids to her for 4 years now and they have always excelled. They are very ready for kindergarten. Sarah is always looking for new things to teach the kids or fun ways to help them learn. She does a lot of things from Kindergarten but knows what to expect from a 3 or 4 year old. I will keep sending my kids to her!
